Dear Sir,

The day is coming close when the President must make his decision concerning the About-Picard-law. We appeal to you to foreward our message to him. It is most urgent that the law is rejected. And it is possible, if the President would pass it over to the constitutional council, since the law goes grossly against the constitution. 

We in the Association Religion and Freedom are deeply concerned about this situation in France. Our association was founded when a similar threat to religious freedom occurred in Sweden in 1994. There was a psychiatric anti-religious conference in Uppsala that year, where several religions participated in a big demonstration. Some of them are on the list of 173 groups now under threat in France. 

Sweden rejected the psychiatric anti-religious propaganda, and has fully secured religious freedom. This must happen in France too, where we know that psychiatrists are more numerous in proportion to the population than in any other country. They are behind this Mc Carthyism wherever it appears.

To illustrate our concern we "burned" Jeanne d´Arc at Norrmalmstorg today in our demonstration for religious freedom in France.
The names of those who took part and people from the audience have signed the added lists.
Please, mr Ambassador, relay our message to the President.
